Norman Rockwell is probably one of the most well known American artists. If you don’t know his name, chances are you still know his work.

He painted covers for The Saturday Evening Post for over 40 years and his art has been made eternal through syndication on posters, calendars, mugs, and pretty much every other “gift shop” item you can think of.

I throughly enjoyed browsing through this gallery and I think you might too. Although, if you try to download any of the pictures you’ll be denied. The site has used some fancy JavaScript to prevent people from saving them. If you are as smart as I am though, you can get around it.
